James Conlon, charged with unlawfully wounding his wife, Mary Elizabeth Conlon, with intent to do grievous bodily harm, has been arrested by Constable Lambert, Quirindi Police. Committed for trial at Gunnedah Sessions.

1886 Mar 24 - WARRANT ISSUED FOR ARREST[3]

Tamworth.—A warrant has been issued by the Tamworth Bench for the arrest of James Conlon, charged with disobeying a summons for assaulting his wife. He is about 35 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches high, dark complexion, full dark beard, well
known to the Quirindi and Tamworth Police.

James Conlon, charged on warrant with disobeying a summons for assaulting his wife, Mary Conlon, has been arrested by Constable Payne, Manilla Police. Sentenced to four months’ hard labour in Tamworth Gaol.
